This striking Mallard drake wallows in his pond surrounded by bullrushes and kingcups. Nicola suggests working the intricate details with Basketweave Tent Stitch, with the larger areas in Upright Cross Stitch, Knitting Stitch, Brick Stitch and the background worked in a bigger scale counted stitch pattern. A range of textured and novelty threads would look very effective on 14 - 13 tpi/mesh cotton mono canvas.

Each needlepoint canvas is exclusively and lovingly painted by Nicola. True artisanal craftsmanship takes time, and many canvases are painted to order, so please allow 21 days for painting your canvas.
Shipping can sometimes take 5 - 7 days in the UK and sending work overseas can take longer due to passing through customs.
All parcels will be sent via first class tracked postage, but Nicola cannot control the time that a parcel can take in customs. Tariffs for shipping to the USA will be included in the charge.
